Flow characteristics
There are three characteristics of positioner: linear, equal percentage and quick-opening
The usage of component is to resolve the problem that the flow characteristics of control valve can’t satisfy the flow characteristics of regulator or technical process requirement
If the positioner uses linear characteristic, the flow characteristic is the same as that of plug, and if the positioner adopts other characteristics, the relationship of input signal and stem travel is not linear, here the increment of flow capacity will be changed as the change of input signal.
